GolfVectorLab's engines, visuals, and written content are provided for personal, educational, and recreational use. You may use them to inform your own golf decisions, but nothing on the site constitutes an official ruling, an issued Handicap Index, a professional equipment fitting, or medical or injury advice. Where an official process exists for a decision, such as posting a score or resolving a Rules of Golf question, GolfVectorLab directs you to the governing body responsible for it rather than acting as a substitute.

No warranty on results

Rule-derived results are calculated to match the referenced published formula as closely as the site's implementation allows, and estimated results are labeled as estimates with their stated assumptions. Neither kind of result is guaranteed to be free of error, and GolfVectorLab is not liable for a decision made in reliance on a result from the site. Verify anything consequential, such as tournament eligibility, against an official source before acting on it.

Acceptable use

You may not use automated tools to scrape or systematically extract site content or engine code beyond ordinary personal browsing, misrepresent a GolfVectorLab result as an official ruling or issued handicap, or use the site in a way that disrupts its availability for other users.

Changes to the site and these terms

GolfVectorLab may update its engines, methodology, or these terms as its rule sources and product scope evolve. Material changes to a calculation method are reflected in that engine's stated methodology version. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
